Digvijay “Danny” Gaekwad is a first-generation American entrepreneur and community leader based in Ocala, Florida.
Born in Baroda, a former princely state in western India, as the son of a Judge and grandson of a Colonel in the Indian Army, he graduated in Political Science from the prestigious Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
Danny arrived in the United States with his wife Manisha in 1987 to live the American Dream. Three decades later, he is recognized as a visionary, passionate leader and formidable change agent influencing industry, community and politics.
Danny began his “American Dream” journey before he left India. While a political science major at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara, he announced to his fellow students that he would someday have his picture taken with an American president.
